Bonding adhesives, also known as agglomerates, are polyurethane formulations designed for adhesion applications across various production processes.
Beyond adhesion functions, these adhesives offer chemical characteristics that address physical processes, environmental concerns, and specific customizations for individual client needs.
Amino’s portfolio includes a wide range of products that serve diverse segments such as foam scraps, rubber, cork stoppers, cleaning sponges, and more.
Amino Products
Amino currently offers two lines of agglomerates in its portfolio: AMIPOL and AMIPRE.
- AMIPOL Products: These are ready-made systems composed of polyols and MDI blends, serving various segments by providing raw materials for rigid, molded flexible, viscoelastic, semi-rigid, and other applications.
AMIPOL products, being systems, can be formulated according to each client’s needs, with full assistance provided for formulation adjustments.
- AMIPRE Products: These are single-component products (except for foam agglomeration adhesives, which use tin neodecanoate). Like AMIPOL, they can be customized and designed for various functionalities, such as bonding foam flakes, ground rubber, wood, fabrics, and even metals.

Sustainability and the Low-C Line
As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, Amino believes sustainable solutions are critical for reducing the environmental impact on the planet.
This is why Amino offers a high-standard bonding adhesive that promotes circular economy practices, enabling the adhesion of rubber and other materials that would otherwise be discarded.
Production of this solution typically occurs in four formats: rectangular blocks for flooring, hot-pressed panels for flooring, cylindrical blocks for acoustic mats, and monolithic in-place flooring within projects for playgrounds and walking tracks. How Agglomerate Adhesives Add Value to Foam Waste
One industry that directly benefits from Amino’s solutions is the mattress industry.
Foam waste from production processes can be repurposed into blocks for mattresses, wood floor bases, mats, and even technical components for use in industries like automotive.
These blocks, made from adhesives and foam, provide excellent firmness and support. Depending on the final product’s needs, they can meet various national and international standards for permanent deformation, density, tear resistance, and tensile strength, as required by organizations like INMETRO, ABNT, and ASTM. Innovations in Agglomerates
When it comes to agglomerates and sustainability, Amino also invests in innovations, ensuring products free from environmental contaminants and entirely biodegradable.
For example, the AMIPRE PAX 2627 is an Amino solution for plant plug structuring. It provides a more aerated and permeable substrate without losing structure, ideal for plants to receive the right amount of water and air for optimal development. Learn more by clicking below:
