Amino Joins the UN Global Compact in Brazil

Amino has officially joined the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, an initiative by the UN to mobilize the business community to adopt and promote ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption in their business practices.

With the establishment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Global Compact has also taken on the mission of engaging the private sector in this new agenda.

As a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General, the United Nations Global Compact calls on companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. Launched in 2000, the Global Compact guides and supports the global business community in advancing UN goals and values through responsible corporate practices.

With more than 16,000 companies and nearly 4,000 non-business organizations across 70 local networks spanning almost 170 countries, the UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world.
